This is Comfort. Officially my favorite town in Texas. For this assignment I was handed a list of suggestions: interesting activities, shops and restaurants to check out. There was so much more and this is not a big town. In the end, it’s the people who make this town so special. I’m ready to move.
Comfort is known for their impression collection of antique shops, but if you ask Cara from Studio Comfort, it’s the freethinkers that built this town and it’s the freethinkers who will reimagine it and shepherd into the new era.

Since this initial shoot for the magazine, I have been back to shoot three times. once for the cover, next was to photograph a country musician at Hill Country distillery’s tasting room on Front Street, and most recently I was in town to cover a story for AARP. This place is really coming up it’s a charming small town with arteries that reach an international airport in 45 minutes.
That’s why they call it the best of both worlds.
